CANADIAN IDOL TRYOUTS IN OTTAWA

Jay Perry, a 26 year old drove all the way from Peterborough, Ontario in his best Elton John outfit. He managed to get a blue card which allows him in for the second round of auditions. Canadian Idol and E-Talk Daily host Ben Mulroney was also in town along a large contingent of Canadian Idol people to handle the hundreds of people who showed up.
On March 17 & 18 Canadian Idol came to Ottawa's St. Laurent Shopping Centre to audition new hopefuls for the upcoming season of the CTV show. Some of the contestants drove from miles away to compete in what has become an annual hunt for new talent for the show. Last year's Idol winner Eva Avila came from across the Ottawa River in Gatineau, Quebec. http://www.idol.ctv.ca
