THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY DAFFODIL CAMPAIGN

On March 26, The Canadian Cancer Society celebrated the launch of their 50th Daffodil Campaign fundraiser. Volunteers picked up hundreds of boxes from their office at 1745 Woodward Ave. to be distributed and sold throughout the region to raise money in support of the fight against cancer. In 2006, Daffodil sales raised $3.2 million for the Canadian Cancer Society in Ontario. The flowers will be sold throughout April which is known as Daffodil Month.
