JAN HARDER'S "COFFEE HOUSE" TO MEET THE MAYOR

Councillor Jan Harder hosted a coffee house to Meet the Mayor on February 10, 2007. Mayor Larry O'Brien and Jan Harder were also joined by Councillor Maria Mcrae at the Walter Baker Centre in Barrhaven to discuss the "Zero Means Zero" property tax increase. Information packages were avaliable and a good crowd showed up with many question's about their concern's about the zero tax, service cuts and transportion. The Mayor read a brief statement before the meeting to reporter's concerning allegation's from former mayoralty candidate Terry Kilrea, that he had tried to bribe him to opt out of the race.
