On April 25 New Zealand and Australia had their Ceremonies for Anzac Day at the Canadian War Museum. ANZAC Day is one of Australia and New Zealand's most important National Occasions. ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps. April 25, 1915 marks the date of the first military action by Australia and New Zealand forces during the First World War. New Zealand had 2,721 forces fatalities and Australia had 8,709 in what became known as the Gallipoli Campaign. This is like Canada's Remembrance Day with ceremonies observed around the world.
