Ron Moores, host of The Back Forty on CKCU FM 93.1, introduces Pat and the band. Al Bragg is in the background.
The Vinyl Frontier are Al Bragg - piano & pedal steel, Ann Downey (who also is part of Finest Kind and The Toasted Westerns) on upright bass and vocals, Pat McLaughlin - guitar and vocals, and Bob Bangs - on drums.
On March 10, local singer/songwriter Pat Moore held a concert and CD release for her new CD - Take It To Heart. It was held at the NAC 4th stage to a sold out audience. This is Pat's second CD and it takes you back to country music of the late fifties and the sixties. Songs like this you can't hear on commercial country radio anymore and for those who didn't get to go, and long to hear Classic Country in the stylings of Patsy Cline, they missed a truly magical night. Pat also hosts a weekly Radio show called Weekend Warmup on CKCU FM 93.1. The show airs every Friday between 4 and 5 pm. www.patmoore.net, www.ckcufm.com

Thanks Thom! We sure had a great night that evening. It was great to see you there.
I really like your site. As I toggle through the pics I am reminded of many neat things about Ottawa.
Your photo of Jim at the Experimental Farm is special.
Pat
