On March 28 a small concert and cheque presentation was made at the Civic Campus of the The Ottawa Hospital on Carling Avenue. Two of "the Babes" Ana Miura and Amanda Rheaume were on hand to present a cheque for $9,718 that had been raised for over six concerts in five cities. The money will be going to The Well Women Program of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. The Well Women Program is a series of workshops that will be offered to women with breast cancer, their families and loved ones. More than 1100 new breast cancer patients are diagnosed each year in the Ottawa area. The money will help this new and innovative program so that the special needs of women with breast cancer can be recognized and better met. http://www.ottawacancer.ca, http://www.anamiura.com, http://www.amandarheaume.com, http://www.babesforbreasts.com
