Sometimes being in the right place at the right time...........Philip Townsend who was in Ottawa on May 6 for a showing at the Dale Smith Gallery is just such a person. He is from England and as a photographer was asked to take the first ever photo sessions of a new band in 1963 who were just starting out. Little did he know at the time the band would go on to arguably be the greatest Rock and Roll band that is still going strong over 40 years later.
